Japanese Knotweed Tightens Grip on UK Mortgages
Renowned for its invasive nature, Japanese Knotweed is now sabotaging mortgage applications, with an increasing number of lenders refusing applications if its identified on a property survey.
Although hardwearing and tricky to remove, Japanese Knotweed can be treated using Roundup Tree Stump & Root Killer. Simply, cut back the stems to a height of 200mm and 40mm above a node. Rupture the central tissue with a screwdriver and apply 10ml of a 20% solution of treatment into the hollow stem.
Roundup Tree Stump & Root Killer features an easy to use, non-drip, dispensing bottle, which ensures correct measurements every time, whilst its systemic action takes the formula right down to the weeds growing points, and put simply, kills the Japanese Knotweed from the inside out.
Roundup is available from all good garden product retailers. For more information and stockists please visit
